Julian Bayard and Marlins 4U Hold Onto Victory As Mariners Almost Erase 5-Run Deficit

Julian Bayard marked his 3rd Birthday on Friday, September 19th, and turned around and got his first hit during his first baseball game of his first season the next day at age 3. Julian is the son of Daniel Bayard III and Anamaria Bayard, grandson of Daniel & Lily Bayard.

Marlins 4U got on the board in the top of the first inning after Julian Bayard singled, then three teammates also singled. Joniel R hit into a fielder's choice, each scoring one run. Despite seeing their 5-run lead whittled down by the end, Marlins 4U still held to win for a 9-8 victory on Saturday.

Julian Bayard, Joey R, and Caleb F each collected multiple hits for RPB Marlins. RPB Marlins 4U welcome the Cardinals on Tuesday for their next game.
